Our mission is to provide the highest quality tours of both Berlin and
Germany to you. We specialize in military and historically themed tours
of Germany; from the wars of the Kaisers through the Third Reich and
into the Cold War. Sites abound in Berlin, where the scars of war can
be seen on almost every street corner and the monuments of kings and
dictators tower over the city. The remains of bunkers, flak towers,
battlegrounds, massacres, secret police installations, prisons,
barracks and all manner of tales are yours to discover when you come on
a BlackBird tour. For those whose interest in dark deeds goes beyond
the grave, we also offer two Ghost Tours in the evenings.
Coming to Germany and wanting to see
more than just the capital? Perhaps things off the beaten track? We
lead single and multiday excursions to a wide variety of destinations,
including several UNESCO World Heritage sites. Looking for a mixture of
carnage and culture? BlackBird will blend a tour to your
specifications. Not only do we know about military history, we know a
great deal of social history as well! Need time for shopping? An
excursion to the spa? We know the best places to scrape off the
barnacles after a few days of hard touring.
We also can arrange full
holidays, complete with hotel
reservations, airport transfers, multiday
excursions and the facility
for handling large groups. Bus Tours are also possible. While based in
Berlin, we can arrange tours throughout the entire country.
